Marketplace dataset price: what each listing prints, and per what
Updated
Most figures on the table are buyers' claims about what company data is worth or earns. These are the ones a seller prints against a dataset or a plan, each with the unit it is sold in.
Ask about the data I need Tell us what you need, how much and for what. We reply with what the board shows and whether a company licensing its own data could fit.
By hours of speech
In a launch press release dated 26 September 2024, Defined.ai announced its Data Access Plan in four tiers, Standard, Premium, Ultimate and Elite: 315 hours of speech data for €50,000 on the Standard Plan, 625 hours for €100,000 on Premium and 3,125 hours for €500,000 on Elite, with Ultimate priced between the last two. Those are the plans and prices it announced then; its home page today offers samples and quotes on request, so ask what a plan costs now.

Before setting one beside another
A price per audio hour, per purchase and per plan cannot be compared until you know how many hours or records each buys and on what licence. Ask the seller for both before weighing one listing against another.
